The pettite hottie of B-town, Amrita Rao, is on a break these days. But though the actress is not on a shooting spree, she cirtainly is keeping herself busy. Amritha recently paid a visit to Shiridi. A firm believer in sai baba, the actress has been wanting to visit Shiridi for a long time now. ”But like they say, you can’t go there untill you get a call from almighty; so it was a long wait before I could finally visit Shiridi, ”revealed the actress. And Amritha who was keen on keeping the visit low profile, took off with only a few family members and friends. But as soon as she reached there, word got out. And what ensued was definitely not on Amrita’s agenda. ”Amrita was surprised to see a few media personnel waiting. She gave them a couple of bytes and left. But eagar to get more, some even tailed her to her hotel and that’s when we stepped in and requested them to give her some privacy, ‘’said a friend of the actress. Well,Amrita whoever said stardom comes with a price, wasn’t off the mark right?

DEEPIKA padukone might be heading back south after all,for she’s received some really great feedback on her telugu ad with Ram charan teja. The actress shot with Chiranjeevi’s son for a new pepsi ad. After checking out the sizzling chemistry between the two young stars, filmmakers in andhra pradeshare all keen on casting this new pair together.
“It is amazing that a 45sec advertaisement with charanhas generated so much interest. Quite frankly, I never expected so much attention from this.It is good that people have appreciated our chemistryfrom what little they have seen” says Deepika, who did accept the fact that she was quite apprehensive about doing an ad for the south indian market.
However, this feedback has made the actress a little more open to acting in movies made down south too,as long as the script is right.’ ‘Why not?” questions Deepika,adding, ”If i am offered a compelling role,language will never be an obstacle.I am an actor by profession and experimenting is part of that.”
Incidentally, Deepika is all praise for Ram charan, her counterpart from the telugu film industry and his down-to-earth nature. ”Charan and i did interact a little bit. I would have never guessed he was Chiranjeevi’s son because he is so grounded and doesn’t come with any baggage. It is very nice to see that, for I gather he is as new as i am, so he’s still ready to learn,’’says Deepika,who is currently shooting in Mumbai for KARTHIK KALING KARTHIK opposite Farahan Akhtar.
Deepika,who will be heading to Bangalore this month to participate in the marathon,says,”I am excited to be back home this month,I always like coming back to bangalore.I hope to complete the marathon,and I am working hard towards that.”

Mahesh Babu has recently started shooting for his much awaited movie titled “Varudu”. Trivikram Srinivas is directing this movie and Anushka Shetty is the lead actress in this film. Singamalai Ramesh is producing this movie under Kanaka Ratna movies banner and is said to invest almost 40 Crores in this project.
The film ‘Varudu’ is said to be an adventurous, comedy oriented love story. Prakash Raj is playing the role of villain and Sunil is acting as Mahesh’s friend in this movie.
Mahesh has not been able to deliver a blockbuster in his past two releases, so this is a challenge for him to come up with something better than that. As it is, he has kept many of his fans waiting by not appearing for more than one and a half year.

Surender Reddy’s career hangs on this, as his last two films - Athidhi and Ashok, are big flops. R R Movie Makers taking huge risks by producing this big-budget extravaganza and hopes to get a success with a big hero for the first time.

BILLA, the next movie of Prabhas is in the news for many reasons. Its star cast and the storyline make this movie special and after much speculation the audio of this movie released March 18, 2009.
Meher Ramesh who is the director for this film has scheduled the canning of the last song for this film on March 22nd which will be done in Vizag. The movie is all set for an April release.
